Every Sunday (even in winter) the park gets packed full of people looking for second hand clothes, vintage bags and jewellery . Many people flock to the park to just enjoy the infamous karaoke sessions that take place at the amphitheatre every Sunday afternoon.
If you choose the other direction you are only three stops away from weddings Brüssler Kiez and Leopold Platz. In comparison with Prenzlauer Berg you can enjoy the same experiences but in a different way. There is a huge amount of independent bars and restaurants for absolutely every corner of the globe. The absolutely highlight especially in summer is the Plötzensee where you are able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a moment.
