Overview
Our SLR apartment is an amazing waterfront apartment located directly next to the Berlin Spree! This three bedroom apartment is comfortable and has a modern design throughout, that has everything we think you could possibly want. The brand new building is fully equipped with additional features such as climate control, lift access, secure bike rooms, a car park and electric blinds. The open plan, fully equipped kitchen and the cozy living room build a perfect place to have a dinner with friends or watch a movie on the smart TV. The additional extra is the incredible waterfront view that is really something special. You can easily enjoy it thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, the apartment is bright and full of natural light throughout. Perhaps the most spectacular is the building’s rooftop terrace which overlooks the Spree up to the Oberbaumbrücke, Berlin’s most famous bridge. The perfect place to enjoy the summer sun or to host a barbecue. As you can see, this apartment is modern city living at its very best.
The average size is 12m², and all are equipped with a comfortable bed, desk and a wardrobe for your personal belongings. The lamps in the room create a warm ambiance, and the cozy furnishings feel immediately stylish and cozy. Some of the rooms have the additional extra of a private bathroom, others have access to a balcony.
Neighbourhood
Located on the same street as the likes of WeWork, Coke an Universal Music, this is an incredibly nice part of Berlin is right on your doorstep. Take a summertime walk down by the water to the East Side Gallery, one of the most iconic site in Europe, in less than 10 minutes. The apartment also has fantastic access to public transport, it is within walking distance of both Waschauer Straße and Oestkreuz Stations, so getting around the city is simple and convenient. With Warschauer Straße and Ostkreuz Stations you have a variety of U bahn (U1 and U3) and a large amount of different S bahn lines ( S3, S5, S8 and S9) including the Ringbahn (S41 and S42).
Friedrichshain itself is one of Berlin’s most artistic and vibrant regions. Containing a large number of former DDR (East German) relics, such as the boulevard Karl-Marx Allee named after the famous socialist, and the impressive Frankfurter Tor it provides people with an incredibly nostalgic throwback to the times of cold war Berlin. Friedrichshain also has a bustling subculture of edgy bars and clubs, including one of the most famous (and hardest to get in to) clubs in Europe, Berghain. This interesting juxtaposition between modern hipster culture and old communist infrastructure lends to Friedrichshain being known as one of the most exciting districts in Berlin!
